The latest campaign financial disclosures are out, and I have some exciting news to share.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have ourselves a race.
Through the generosity of 180 individual donors, we raised $18,977.82 this reporting period, beating out the incumbent—thank you!
Our opponent raised just less than we did from 57 donors, including former Bronson administration officials like John Morris and Mike Robbins. Other notable donors were former assembly candidate Christine Hill, Calvin Schrage’s far-right opponent Joseph Lurtsema, and former Alaska GOP Chair Ann Brown.
But even with all that powerhouse support from some of the most extreme elements of the Alaska Republican Party, we still bested our opponent. Today's victory is a testament to the strength of our grassroots movement and the collective voices of those who believe in better childcare, public education, and retirement benefits for our educators, first responders, and other hardworking public servants.
Together, we are proving that a campaign powered by everyday Alaskans can overcome the influence of extreme political forces and drive meaningful change.
It's your support that fuels our campaign and strengthens our mission to fight for a better Alaska. Let's keep up the momentum! You can help by following us on social media, sharing our posts, donating, and talking to others about our campaign. Every like, share, and conversation makes a difference.
Thank you for being part of this journey – let's keep the energy high and go win this thing together!
With gratitude,
Janice
P.S. Don’t forget about this Thursday’s event with Les Gara. We hope to see you there!
